Stuart Peacock

Account Manager

The old bloke in the office! Or so the rest of them are constantly telling me. Well certainly the oldest but not old yet. How can 38 be old? I like to think, mature and experienced. Not only old, but fat and bald as well, apparently. (I’ll concede the bald bit) You need broad shoulders to work here and I certainly wouldn’t want these guys writing my Lonely Hearts ad - Should I ever need to write one.

I have been at the company since July 2006 and I am enjoying the change of direction that working as an Account Manager in a busy Creative Agency brings.

I spent the previous 13 years working in sales and account management in the media industry. The last seven of those as National Sales Manager for Independent News & Media (Northern Ireland).

I like:

Maddy and William, my two children aged 7 and 3 and my wife Alison come top of the list. Eating, curry, Chinese, pub grub you name it, I eat it. To try and keep my girth under control, I still enjoy playing league cricket every Saturday in the summer for Marlow CC. Unfortunately my old(er)? body precludes me from continuing my hockey, rugby and football career, although I still enjoy watching all of them. Chelsea Football Club are also high on my list of loves, as is supporting England in just about any sport, particularly if it involves food and a beer tent or hospitality area. Eating, especially a good lunch. Musicals and movies. Novels especially Sharpe. Black tie do’s particularly if you can wangle an overnight stay in a hotel. Touring around the UK visiting clients’ regional offices; Cardiff being the current favourite night out. Eating dinner and for that matter breakfast and now I come to think of it supper, did I mention lunch?

I dislike:

Getting old(er), Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham. Any day without at least three square meals.
