Congratulations to our good mate Simon Pringle of PIPC who this week picked up the CSR Practice of the Year award at the prestigious Management Consultancy Association Awards.
I understand he also leaps tall buildings at weekends!

We have just been to Think at Excel Centre, London for a glimpse of the stand we have created for our client WSP Environmental & Energy. There was a three dimensional city and tree scape backdrop over a cloud sky and a larger ‘Think’ cloud area for attendees to put their comments on environmental issues. They could write these on specially created sticky notes that were provided by the WSP staff manning the stand.
A big thanks to our friends at Service Graphics for their hard work in producing the stand to such a tight schedule!

As the temperatures start hotting up, so too do those pesky garden predators like black fly, green fly and black spot, so get out your organic pest sprays and rid your garden of uninvited insects and diseases. Uncle Stu says,”May’s a busy month in the garden, so don’t forget your containers need planting, everything needs watering regularly, hedges must be clipped, the grass cut and yes, you guessed it, lots and lots of weeding, lovely!”

We are delighted to have been appointed by Scottish Windows to develop the marketing material for their latest development, 75 York Road. The building is due for completion in early 2009 and will be one of the most significant office developments in the Waterloo area for many years. The campaign will run throughout 2008 and is due to include both print and digital work.

Our new business cards are back from the printer and we are very pleased with them. Our design replicates plant labels, this is to reflect the growth theme of our brand. They were produced from 100% post consumer waste and printed with soya based inks, they certainly don’t look or feel recycled… unlike the concept ;-)

Our top tips for a beautiful April garden are start sowing your flowering plants, mulch like mad, stake those herbaceous perennials, prune your hydrangeas and most importantly get weeding before they take hold.

After much huffing, puffing, straining and box moving by the Sprouties, we are finally moved into our new offices. Sprouty Towers boasts a roof terrace, rather nice balcony, board room reception and lots and lots of space!!
We are also right by all the bars and restaurants on Charlotte Street and are looking forward to a long hot summer so we can get to know a whole new set of watering holes.

After the relative quiet of the winter months, it’s time to get busy in your garden. Uncle Stu’s March checklist includes pruning, deadheading, planting up, weeding and sowing his veggie garden. A word of caution however, don’t be too eager to plant out anything susceptible to frost as the weather is still very unpredictable.
