John Foley & Son identity
The brief:
John Foley & Son have grown to be the largest independently owned tiling contractors in the North East since being established in 1957. With a Spring 2007 move to a new office, warehouse unit and the opening of a new showroom, they identified the need for a new image to accompany their growth strategy.
Solution:
We created this new brand identity based on an icon commonly found within their industry. The ampersand was replaced with a plus sign taking its form from a tile spacer. The typography was then placed in such a way as to replicate the layout of tiles on a wall. In recognition of the company reaching 50 years, we created the special anniversary identity (on the right) which will appear on the company letterhead for 2007/08.
