Milsoms Hotel identity
The brief:
Loch Fyne Restaurants, a successful nationwide group of exclusive seafood restaurants were launching a new venture into small, niche, boutique style hotels and required a new brand identity that would reflect the existing Loch Fyne Restaurant identity but could also stand alone.
Solution:
Whilst implementing a timeless contemporary typeface for the logo type, a lower case ‘h’ for hotel was employed to reflect the fact that each hotel whilst being small (rarely exceeding 12 double rooms) provides you with high specification accommodation with a contemporary homely feel. A rich Blue/Green colour and three fish in a bed was utilised to not only reflect the blue of Loch Fyne Restaurants but also the use of rich fabrics within the Interior of each hotel.
