The brief:
Milsom Place, a new shopping complex development, required a new brand identity that would reflect the nature of the centre in it bringing together a number of previously disjointed Streets in the heart of Bath.
Solution:
We created an identity that utilised a number of circles converging to form a heart symbol that depicted the ideology of the new development and its significance within Bath. This was then reinforced by the introduction of a strapline ‘The heart of fashionable Bath’ which along with the main logotype was set in a clean, timeless typeface for maximum clarity. Golden browns were utilised to give a warm welcoming, friendly feel whilst being complementary to the famous Victorian Bath stone architecture. The clean contemporary nature of the new brand was applied across a broad range of media from advertising to hoardings and signage to carrier bags and website.
